Iyengar Certified Yoga Teacher

We are seeking an experienced Iyengar Certified Yoga Teacher for a holistic fitness program.  One with Heart Tulen Center provides a wide variety of fitness and wellness activities including Yoga, Functional Strength Training, Boxing, Tai Chi and Qi Gong, and Self-defense Kung-Fu in a multi-studio facility in SE Portland.  Please visit our website at www.onewithheart.com

We have delivered varieties of yoga to this area for 9 years and intend to incorporate the elite training of B.K.S. Iyengar to our students.  Current Iyengar certified teachers and students in training are encouraged to apply.  Starting compensation is hourly based upon experience (min. $25/hr).  Days and times of classes are to be determined but you can expect some evening and weekend classes.

The ideal candidate will display a genuine enthusiasm for instructing long-term health practices and demonstrate creative talents to modify curriculum to meet the abilities of the students.  Most importantly we are looking for someone whose vision parallels ours and someone who can continue to inspire and elevate our yoga program.
